ROMARDO Group is a private Brisbane-based, precious-base metals and lithium focused early-stage project generation exploration group. The Group comprises Dr. Douglas Haynes (formerly Chief Geologist BHP/BHP Billiton Exploration and WMC and part of the teams that discovered Olympic Dam, Ernest Henry and Kamoa), Robert (Bob) Skrzeczynski (formerly Exploration Manager at BHP leading the teams responsible for the discovery of the Cannington, Eloise, Watershed and Townsville deposits), Mark Dugmore (formerly Global Base Metals Manager BHP Exploration) and Dr. Darryn Hedger (formerly Senior Geochemist BHP) .
Exploration Expertise: ROMARDO Group comprises a team with extensive exploration experience and technical capability that guided BHP, WMC and Ivanhoe Mines to major discoveries at Olympic Dam, Ernest Henry, Cannington and Kamoa. The team is uniquely qualified to succeed and will continue to direct the Group toward new opportunities and new discoveries resulting in strong growth potential. The team has access to first class geophysicists and geochemists.
Joint Venture Business Plan: The Group believes that its joint venture or project generator business model is the most effective strategy for non-revenue-generating junior and private explorers. ROMARDO minimizes exploration risk by joint venturing (or vending) its portfolio of high quality exploration projects with solid partners.
Innovative Thinking: ROMARDO utilises the Minerals Systems approach, employs leading edge exploration thinking, and utilises advanced techniques for processing geophysical data to identify alteration and geologic features related to mineral deposits. The collective global experience of the Principals gives ROMARDO Group an exploration advantage.
